About Berkeley HAAS School of Business

With the distinction of having two of its faculty members win the Nobel Prize in Economics, Berkeley Haas is one of the top creators of fresh concepts and information across all facets of business. The second-oldest business school in the United States, Berkeley Haas was established in 1898 thanks to a donation from Cora Jane Flood.

Graduate students at the Haas School of Business benefit from the institution’s proximity to San Francisco, which is home to several well-known corporations including Google and Visa. To complement a business degree, it’s a simple way to obtain internships and employment. Students who participate in the Haas@Work program are given projects at national and international businesses. By attending part-time in the evenings and on weekends, students may complete their MBA in three years as opposed to the regular program’s 21 months. More than half of the MBA program is made up of electives, from which students may choose courses at Haas or other UC-Berkeley academic divisions. The Berkeley MBA for Executives program enables experienced business professionals to complete their degree in 19 months.
